We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at NS SONS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, and communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Security Clearance: Confidential security clearance.
Work Environment:

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
