About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guest rooms are well-equipped and welcoming for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests by consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging interactions.
  • Prioritize and respond to guest and internal requests in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of public areas and back spaces within the hotel, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute all clean and dirty linen items throughout the hotel, ensuring efficient and effective linen management.
  • Assist Suite Attendants as required to ensure guest rooms are prepared and well-presented for guests' arrival, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping leadership team to complete assigned tasks and projects, contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Report any maintenance concerns promptly, ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming.
  • Warm and caring personality, with previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
