About the Opportunity

The Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time teaching stream position in the areas of pharmacy, program evaluation, and artificial intelligence in pharmacy education/practice. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop curriculum in pharmacy education and research
  • Conduct research in program evaluation and artificial intelligence in pharmacy education/practice
  • Develop and implement online methods and experiential education
  • Coordinate large-size classes and work collaboratively with department members

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Pharmacy, Data Sciences, Health Services, or Pharmacy Education-oriented field
  • Minimum of five years of professional practice experience or teaching experience in a degree-granting program/post-secondary institution
  • Completion of at least a 1-year hospital or ambulatory care pharmacy residency (asset)

Desirable Qualities

  • Experience in program evaluation and artificial intelligence in pharmacy education/practice
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with department members
