We are seeking a skilled Farm Worker to join our team at Double Diamond Acres Limited. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and productivity of our crops.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the maintenance of our greenhouses, including cleaning and pruning.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as leveling the earth and removing suckers and water sprouts from crops.
- Contribute to the harvesting of cucumbers and tomatoes, ensuring high-quality produce.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment, working extended periods on your feet and performing repetitive tasks.
- No formal education is required, but experience in agriculture is an asset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Own transportation is required for commuting to and from work.
Our farm is located in a rural area, and you will be working in a combination farming environment, with exposure to hot temperatures and heights.
Language and HoursThe work language is English, and the work term is permanent, with a variable number of hours per week, typically between 40 to 60 hours.
