Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our team at our Riverside Food Store in St. Albert, AB. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized deli area, and assist with food preparation and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and friendly service to customers at the deli counter
- Packaging, wrapping, and labeling prepared foods, meats, cheeses, and other deli items
- Maintain a display of deli products, ensuring facing, filling, and organization meet company standards
- Monitor case temperature, clean equipment, and workspaces
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient and accurate in a busy environment
- Ability to handle all deli meats and products
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
