About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machined Parts Inspector to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, using precision measuring instruments
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
  • Record and report inspection results, including any defects or discrepancies
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and quality control principles
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
