Aviation Training Specialist

Job Summary

This role reports to the Director of Training and Support Center (TSC) and collaborates closely with Base and Regional Managers to ensure comprehensive training for all staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and document operational standards, policies, and procedures as needed.
  • Contribute to the creation of training programs across various departments.
  • Coordinate with both internal and external trainers for effective training delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to facilitate required training initiatives.
  • Deliver engaging in-class training sessions and practical demonstrations for teams.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that upholds exceptional customer service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum College Diploma or equivalent experience in airline operations is required.
  • Previous experience in airline operations or training is highly preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract are essential.
  • Ability to travel, teach, and present information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
  • Demonstrated willingness to adapt to changes within the aviation industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Conditions of Employment

  • Travel and overnight stays may be required.
  • Weekend and evening work may be necessary.
  • Overtime hours may be required as needed.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50lbs.
