Job Title: Registered Cardiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating electromyography and diagnostic equipment, monitoring cardiac activity, and recording results. They will also perform cardiovascular procedures and tests, offer mentoring, and maintain certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate electromyography and diagnostic equipment to monitor cardiac activity and record results.
  • Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests, including electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound, and other electronic equipment.
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Maintain certifications and licenses, including Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration.
  • Work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in cardiovascular technology.
  • Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration.
  • Experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
