Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at ABCO Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following established safety protocols.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity. You will be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards associated with construction sites.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
