Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee all phases of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Variance Analysis: Analyze actual results vs budget and forecast.
  • Accounting System Improvement: Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls.
  • Consolidated Financial Statements: Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including related notes.
  • Annual Audit Files: Prepare annual audit files, working papers, and non-consolidated statutory financial statements for preparation by the company's tax accounting firm.
Personal Qualities and Technical Skills
  • Relationship Building: Develop and foster positive relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with well-developed time-management skills and processes for managing multiple priorities.

Optimal Education and Experience
  • Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of general accounting experience.
  • Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

  • Language Skills: Intermediate proficiency in oral and written French is an asset.
Salary and Compensation
  • Salary: Competitive salary based on experience ($87,000 to $93,000).
