Job Title: High School English and Math Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced High School English and Math Instructor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires working with students in a one-on-one setting to help them improve their English and math skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach English and math to high school students in a one-on-one setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and tutoring
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, math, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
