About the Role

MFS Investment Management is seeking an experienced and results-driven Executive Director, Sales and Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the institutional investment market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our presence in the institutional investment market.
  • Work closely with our investment team to effectively communicate our investment strategies and views to institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to our leadership team.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to support our sales efforts.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and market research.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional sales and business development, preferably in the investment management industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and expanding market presence.
  • Strong understanding of the institutional investment market and its trends and developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
