Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Analyst to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that up-to-date job control language is maintained and documented for each program that is part of a scheduled production run.
  • Ensure the documentation and tracking of all shift turnover issues. Contribute to job scheduling and report distribution, as well as data center standards development and enforcement.
  • Monitor the library to ensure that the proper generation of data files are available for production runs and track resolution.
  • Weekly pager rotation and monitoring production jobs

Requirements

  • Understanding of Change / Incident Management procedures
  • Experience of Monitor application health after infrastructure/system updates
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (Helios/UCD) for deployments
  • Working knowledge on OMS updates, understand basic JCL and Zeke
  • Knowledgeable in NPID and Server Compliance
  • Experienced in Disaster Recovery exercise and Archer findings
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
