Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reduce equipment downtime while enhancing productivity
  • Perform thorough inspections on all machinery
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe condition
  • Facilitate pre-shift meetings and provide mentorship to team members

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Possession of Ontario Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician trade license (421A)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a lead-hand capacity within an underground mining environment
  • Strong familiarity with underground mobile mining machinery
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
