Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis

The opportunity we present:
As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, VP Treasurer, and CFO to analyze performance indicators, forecast financial trends, and manage special projects. Are you prepared to:
Engage in the financial forecasting and performance analysis for CAE Consolidated Contribute to the formulation of the company’s strategic plan Assist in the creation of the annual budget Develop and refine financial models while identifying, documenting, and communicating risks and opportunities associated with forecasts Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior managementWith the advancement of technology in finance, CAE is prioritizing efficient business processes. This role will emphasize process enhancement and automation.
Suggest and implement enhancements to the financial planning and forecasting processesThe ideal candidate possesses:
A university degree in accounting or finance A professional designation completed or in progress (CPA, CFA) At least five years of relevant experience Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and PowerPoint A detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills The ability to work independently and meet deadlines Effective communication skills with senior management The capability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCAE provides:
