About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at GERDAU S.A. as a Project Manager. This is a key position that will be responsible for leading projects from development to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize project opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and customers.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the company's quality management system.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance, schedule, and quality metrics.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on electrical engineering projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align project objectives with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
