We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Motion Graphics Specialist to join our team at Digital Extremes. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching our Technical Design team, ensuring employees work productively and develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach Technical Design team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Work with Associate Producer and Principal to allocate resources and assign work to ensure timely project completions.
  • Collaborate with Video and Editorial teams to create motion graphics elements from script to screen.
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions to maintain stylistic and narrative consistency in assets created.
  • Multitask effectively and work on multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Repurpose existing static pieces for promotional advertising.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing and leading a team.
  • 1-3+ years of experience creating Motion Graphics and Static Image designs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of video formats and different platform requirements.
  • An eye for typography, layout, composition, contrast, and color.
  • High levels of creativity and ability to generate innovative designs.
  • Goal-oriented and competitive, with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience achieving strategic objectives within video assets.

Preferred Extras:

  • Bonus if familiar with game engines (like Unreal or Unity).
  • Prior experience with the game industry or in a video game studio.
