Web Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at Recruit Hub Consulting Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design and development, with experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions. This will include:

  • Confer with clients to identify requirements
  • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
  • Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our systems and data. This will include:

  • Criminal record check

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to relocate for this position and is legally able to work in Canada. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
