We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Substance Use Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive clinical therapy and counseling services to individuals and families affected by substance use and addiction.
**Key Responsibilities**- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to substance use treatment.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.
- At least two years of experience in addictions counseling or a related field.
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
