Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairyqueen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate data to inform our business decisions.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Visual Accessibility: Provides visual accessibility accommodations, such as braille or screen readers.
- Auditory Accessibility: Provides auditory accessibility accommodations, such as transcription software or teletypewriters.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- Social and Labour Market Integration: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Recruitment: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Foreign Credential Recognition: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- On-the-Job Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Government or Community Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Government or Community Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
- Hiring Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Awareness Training: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
