We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Care to join our team at All Seniors Care Living Centres.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and services to residents.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver excellent care.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including resident care plans, medication administration, and incident reports.
- Current registration with a relevant professional organization (e.g., RN, RPN, LPN).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
