Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and range of our bread meets our high standards. You'll work closely with our Production Manager and other Bakers to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Production Manager and other Bakers to maintain the quality and range of our bread.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Be assigned an initial designated area of responsibility and cross-functionally train and learn all three areas.
  • Assist with stock rotation and provide delightful customer service.
  • Support the whole bakery team and foster good working relationships.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in baking and customer service is preferred, but not essential as we offer full training.
  • You must have your own transportation.
  • You should be willing to work overnight or early morning shifts, as a COBS Bread baker starts work between midnight and 4 am.
  • You must be able to lift 20kg.
  • A valid Food Safety Course and/or First Aid Training Certificate is valued but not required.
