About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Convenience Store Manager to join our team at Dépanneur Sprint. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for leading our store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and optimize sales.
  • Merchandise Procurement: Source and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Staffing and Training: Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet business needs, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience, responding to customer requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in point of sale systems, electronic schedulers, and accounting software.
