Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Head to oversee our manufacturing processes at MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in production management and quality assurance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff in utilizing new equipment and production methodologies.
  • Develop and implement improvements to machinery, production systems, and operational methods.
  • Manage departmental budgeting and financial planning.
  • Direct daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Team Leadership

Supervise a team of 3-4 employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in electronic communication, spreadsheets, and general computer applications.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Excel.
Industry Expertise

Experience in the aerospace sector, with a specialization in aviation is essential.

Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, with travel expenses covered by the employer.
  • Parking expenses will also be paid by the employer.
