Wood is seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Designer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Mechanical Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for various projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanical designer
  • Proven experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and/or AVEVA E3D software
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D design and drafting
  • Self-motivated with good leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
