Your Role
As a vital member of our team at Enersolv Design & Build Ltd, you will report directly to the Foreman and contribute significantly to our strategic growth. In the position of Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Specialist, you will be responsible for mastering and implementing our established methods, practices, and regulatory standards to effectively install and maintain contemporary refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You will take the lead on commercial projects, managing the ordering, documentation, and maintenance of supplies, while also supervising a team across various job sites. Additionally, you will ensure that large-scale projects are executed within the designated timelines and budget constraints.
Responsibilities- Install, commission, and maintain large and medium-sized commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects and team members, schedule equipment deliveries, and provide onsite training for apprentice installation technicians.
- Stay updated on current health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement task-specific method statements and risk assessments.
- Interpret and analyze construction and schematic drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure all administrative aspects of installation and maintenance projects are accurately documented and submitted to the office promptly.
- Achieve 100% customer satisfaction through effective verbal and written communication with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Exhibit self-motivation and teamwork, serving as a mentor for junior team members.
- Demonstrate a commitment to career development and be open to ongoing technical and professional training.
Skills: Inter-Provincial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Qualification.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including multi-rack, compound-style systems, water chillers, packaged rooftop AC units, and multi-split systems.
License: Valid driver's license required.
Certification: Level 1 First Aid certification.
Tools: Basic personal hand tools for the trade; company-related tools will be provided by Enersolv.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the design, application, and maintenance of variable refrigerant flow/volume (VRF/VRV) systems from manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG, and Samsung/Trane is advantageous. Manufacturer training and certification are beneficial.
