Internship Opportunity: Construction Safety Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused individual for a Construction Safety Internship within our Eastern Canada District. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction safety management, contributing directly to the well-being of our workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to implement and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs.
- Analyze statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and recommend safety procedures to mitigate risks associated with chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide training and education to employees on safe work practices and hazard identification.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training initiatives and incident reports.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field.
