We are seeking a qualified and ambitious individual to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator Infant Toddler/Special Needs at Kootenay/Okanagan.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants, toddlers, and children with special needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive community
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support for children with special needs
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and support
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or degree
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move children as needed
