About the Role

Virdi Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Painter and Decorator Helper. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our painters and decorators with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and decorating.
  • Material Mixing and Application: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 30-40 hour workweek with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
