Under the supervision of the Reception, Admission, and Clinical Archives Manager, the selected candidate will undertake sophisticated technical responsibilities associated with the administration, coding, processing, accessibility, and safeguarding of health record information.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the National Accreditation Examination from the Canadian Interprofessional Health Record Association (CIHRA) and possession of a valid CIHRA certificate with good standing;
- Graduation from an accredited health information management program recognized by CIHRA;
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in Meditech systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and 3M;
- Familiarity with legislation and regulations governing information disclosure;
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology along with anatomical, pharmacological, medical, and surgical procedures;
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities;
- Willingness to travel within the designated areas of the Vitalité Health Network;
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team;
- Physical ability to execute assigned duties;
- Proven track record of satisfactory performance and attendance;
- Commitment to professional ethics, the management philosophy of Vitalité Health Network, and the organization's core values;
- Adherence to the confidentiality policies of Vitalité Health Network.
The aforementioned qualifications may be assessed through various methods, including oral, written, or practical evaluations during the selection process.
