About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is managed effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards and that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, inventory management, and other key metrics.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our staff and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
