Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at THE WINGS ON FLAME RESTAURANT LTD.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, monitor revenues to determine labour cost, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Staff Management: Supervise staff, train staff, conduct performance reviews, and set staff work schedules.
  • Operations: Evaluate daily operations, cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service and lead by example to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the restaurant as needed.

  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
Support for Youths:
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
