Job Title: Millwright Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Apprentice to join our team at Prairie Pride Natural Foods Ltd. As a Millwright Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Collaborate with experienced Millwrights to learn and develop skills
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • Level two, three, and four apprenticeship training
  • Experience with conveyor systems, fans and blowers, high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, power tools, power transmission systems, pumps and compressors, tool grinders, and hand tools
