BMO Financial Group: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and technical design documents to identify testing scope and effort.
  • Develop and review test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
  • Create and review test cases to ensure coverage and traceability.
  • Define test data and environment requirements aligned with project requirements.
  • Execute test cases and document test results and evidence in the identified test management tool.
  • Log defects into the defect management tool with clear descriptions following documented processes.
  • Conduct regular test status calls for defect triage and tracking of test execution status.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues in a timely manner, communicating and addressing scope/schedule changes that impact test cycles.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting on test status and defect metrics to management.
  • Support business acceptance and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with software developers and leads to understand project objectives and map out testing requirements for automation.
  • Develop and automate test cases using Robot Framework.
  • Manage review and sign-off of all QA documentation with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Comply with BMO testing processes, including tools usage and test methodology.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • 10 years of experience in Automation Testing using Selenium.
  • 10 years of experience in SQL Database.
  • 10 years of experience in Robot Framework.
  • 10 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Industry.
