Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Products Manufacturing Operator to join our team at Altech Aluminum (2004) ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to ensure high-quality products
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Read and interpret work orders
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Work Environment

Our production facility is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals. As a Metal Products Manufacturing Operator, you will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week in a safe and healthy work environment.
