Job Title: Corporate Sponsorship Executive Intern

About the Role:

Cosmos Sports & Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Corporate Sponsorship Executive Intern. As a key member of our sponsorship department, you will assist in selling sponsorship for our clients, attend virtual meetings with potential brands, and develop and prepare sponsorship overviews and proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in selling sponsorship for Cosmos clients, including the British Columbia Hockey League, Skate Canada, and other prominent organizations.
  • Attend virtual meetings with potential brands and sponsors to discuss partnership opportunities.
  • Generate prospect pipelines through research and outreach, and develop and prepare sponsorship overviews and proposals.
  • Manage details and maximize presence of Cosmos clients at events, including research on other local events.
  • Develop, manage, and execute large-scale projects and events.
  • Maintain internal CRM databases and correspondence with current and potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program in Business, Marketing, Sport Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to work as an effective team player, as well as independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office Applications.
  • Previous sales experience with an intangible asset is a plus.
