About the Role

Tulloch Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects across various disciplines, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Hydrology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-engineering inspections and surveys to ensure project feasibility and accuracy.
  • Develop and review technical deliverables, including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculations.
  • Prepare plans, proposals, specifications, and supporting documents for project submissions.
  • Conduct stormwater management, drainage, and hydrology assessments, as well as wastewater conveyance and potable water distribution studies.
  • Design and develop site plans, including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans.
  • Work with on-site sewage disposal systems and private water supplies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Undertake preliminary and final linear infrastructure, road, and street design, as well as subdivision development.
  • Perform construction inspections to ensure project quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients to advance business development and build strong relationships.
Requirements
  • University degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
  • License or registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or working towards one.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Valid Class G driver's license.
