Retail Merchandising Team Supervisor
SAS Retail Services Canada is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandising Team Supervisor to oversee grocery product resets and relines.
What We Provide:
- $18/hour compensation.
- Daytime Availability (No Evenings or Weekends)
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday during daytime hours.
- Flexible Work Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute resets and relines by interpreting and implementing planograms with all items properly tagged.
- Manage product tagging, rotation, and placement on shelves, including adjustments to shelf heights.
- Foster and maintain relationships with SAS Retail Services Management, Store Management, and assigned merchandising staff.
- Ensure timely electronic reporting of reset activities and work hours.
Are You Qualified?
- Reliable transportation to various local sites.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights exceeding 50 lbs.
- Proficient in using smartphone technology.
- Previous experience in grocery or large retail merchandising is preferred.
- Familiarity with planograms is advantageous: Training will be provided.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively with other merchandising staff.
Position Overview: The Retail Merchandising Team Supervisor is tasked with merchandising and resetting products from ASM manufacturers at retail locations to meet client and customer expectations.
Core Job Duties:
- Reset Activities, Shelf Conditions, and Schematic Compliance: Implement customer-approved schematics and planograms with all items tagged and sanctioned by store management.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with both internal Advantage Solutions management and external customers.
- Administrative Duties: Complete accurate and timely reporting, including recaps, timesheets, and expense reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- Relevant Experience: Background in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or merchandising at retail accounts within a designated area.
- 0-2 Years of experience in retail merchandising or sales.
- Skills and Abilities: Previous retail experience, strong self-management capabilities, and the ability to perform daily tasks without direct supervision.
Environmental & Physical Considerations: Work is conducted in a retail environment. Requires the ability to engage in significant physical activity, including lifting and/or pushing up to 35 kg, standing for prolonged periods, and potentially working in cold conditions.
