We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Revenue Manager (Remote role). The Senior Revenue Manager will oversee 2-3 hotels in the Americas and will be responsible for translating business analytics into actionable strategies. This role will provide specialized expertise, guidance, and direction to the hotel Revenue Management Team through effective and measurable revenue management strategies, with a primary focus on room revenue and an increasing emphasis on total revenue management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for room occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue. Analyze business data to derive meaningful actions that enhance performance. Create and submit hotel forecasts utilizing the IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System; monitor accuracy on a weekly basis. Manage inventory across all distribution channels to ensure optimal availability. Lead pricing strategy development and analysis, providing recommendations and engaging third-party expertise when necessary. Foster consensus within the Revenue Strategy Team to advance new initiatives. Facilitate and present weekly Revenue Strategy and Forecast Meetings. Drive total revenue management analytics and identify opportunities across rooms, food and beverage, spa, catering, etc. Collaborate with operations to implement new initiatives and assess outcomes. Engage weekly with OTA Market Managers and maintain regular communication with corporate marketing, agencies, and vendors regarding campaign management opportunities. Oversee merchandising strategies, including web featured package displays, online upsell descriptions, GDS sequence, OTA placement, and participation. Act as the business owner for Opera, BI tools, IDeaS G3 revenue management system, and future revenue management systems for catering and food and beverage.Key Qualifications:
Degree in Revenue Management, Hotel/Lodging Management, or Business Administration. Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management and/or hotel operations. Experience managing revenue for multiple hotels is preferred. Proficient in spreadsheets, pivot tables, and database management. Familiarity with MS Office, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Enterprise, IDeaS G3 Revenue Management, TravelClick, Lighthouse, and Opera PMS is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and visually present data and strategies to diverse audiences. Ability to distill complex data into actionable strategies. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Capacity to present alternative viewpoints and build consensus through data-driven insights. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.#LI-Remote
