Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general manual labor and housekeeping tasks in production areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Operate and maintain various production equipment, including packaging machinery, conveyors, and scales.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products and equipment to identify any issues or defects.
  • Assist with kiln outages and refractory work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and report any production, electrical, or mechanical issues to supervision.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and confined space equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Technical knowledge of process and plant equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with heavy equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Effective leadership skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
