At JDI IT, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN accelerators.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues, including capacity planning and disaster recovery planning.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, scripting, testing, and implementation of networking automations.
- Provide technical support, education, and training for high-complexity activities and tasks.
- Configure, manage, and maintain server and application monitoring.
- Act as an escalation point to manage vendor and external technical resources.
- Provide subject matter expertise on network technologies, including Cisco Prime, ISE, IDS/IPS, and Azure Networking.
- Optimize existing systems related to performance and capacity.
- Research and implement security protocols.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documentation for all networking solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5-8+ years of network administration and operations-related experience in a large distributed environment.
- Strong technical, problem determination, and resolution skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Process-driven thinking and ability to secure controlled goods security clearance.
