Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in a rural setting
- Collaborate with a supportive team of 3-4 experienced physicians
- Participate in community health services and make a significant impact in the Nuxalk First Nation and adjacent areas
- Enjoy competitive compensation and a relocation support package
- Benefit from opportunities for continuous learning and skill enhancement
- $20,000 one-time payment, prorated for physicians working less than full-time
- 25.62% fee premium paid on top of MSP billings or service contracts
- $38,880.18 annual flat fee payment paid to any physician that resides and practices in an eligible RSA community for a minimum 9 months per year and bills equal to or greater than $75,000 in the previous calendar year
- Relocation funding up to $15,000 based on relocation distance
- Individual funds for Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME)
- Rural CMPA Benefit (R-CMPA) providing up to a 50% refund of CMPA fees
- Full or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Emergency medicine experience
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) is desired
