Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes.

About the Role:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, including those with palliative care needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Support residents in maintaining their independence and autonomy.

Requirements:

  • PSW Program Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
