Job Title: Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Vincent Chalifoux. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring a balanced diet
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Assist clients with exercise and mobility, promoting physical activity and independence
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities and conversations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Immunization records, medical exam, and vulnerable sector check
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Remote location, with room and board provided
  • Rural area, with a willingness to relocate
