General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our hotel operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hotel Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, and that their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of hotel staff, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure their success.
  • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups, promoting the hotel's brand and services.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a General Manager in a full-service hotel.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on customer service and business growth.
  • Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing, security, personnel management, and financial planning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and external partners.
