Family Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Practitioner to join our team in Sooke, B.C. as part of our outreach services initiative. This part-time (0.2 FTE) role will involve delivering primary care services to adults and children impacted by poverty, colonization, stigma, and homelessness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accessible primary episodic care services that address immediate medical needs and work towards decreasing barriers and social determinants of health in accessing care.
- Collaborate with a primary care RN, an MHSU RN, and a MOA to provide OAT and primary care services to a diverse range of clients.
- Support the Sooke Food Bank and Sooke Shelter in delivering outreach services to vulnerable populations.
Applicants must be a licensed Family Practitioner with experience in providing primary care services to underserved populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
