Family Practitioners Wanted

Island Health is seeking Family Practitioners to join our team at the Downtown Victoria Urgent and Primary Care Centre (DVUPCC).
Team-Based Care- Collaborate with a large group of Family Practitioners and other allied health staff to deliver integrated team-based care to patients.
- Located in beautiful downtown Victoria, the DVUPCC is a bright new clinic with no overhead costs.
- Enjoy a group clinical service contract with competitive rates and new to practice incentives for medical education debt relief or signing bonus.
Island Health is committed to supporting primary care providers and the healthcare team to provide innovative primary care services that are at the forefront of primary care improvement in BC. Our team-based care approach allows for the optimization of data from the clinic's information system to improve patient care.
As a Family Practitioner, you will participate in an after-hours call group, sharing after-hours coverage with other primary care providers at the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
