Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Auto Electric & Constant Velocity Drives Inc. as an Automobile Parts Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store environment, including the warehouse, tool room, and supply area.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and track work orders, and process requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer Skills: MS Office and Internet.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule of 24 to 44 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
