About This Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our North York facility. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities to ensure the efficient production of our beverages.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of production staff to achieve high-quality production standards.
  • Implement and maintain a safe working environment by conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Manage daily maintenance activities, including work orders, schedules, and employee files, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to plan and execute shutdown work, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal asset utilization.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company/Plant policies and regulatory guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), AIB, ISO, OSHA, Quality and Safety Standards.
  • Manage labor and operations within the operating expenses (OPEX) budget.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work dayshift, evening shift, or night shift, including being on call for graveyard and weekend shifts.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), with SAP experience an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Highly detailed problem-solving approach with a focus on timely solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet target deadlines.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).
  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical red seal diploma in Electrical.
  • Preference given to applicants with PLC knowledge and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Previous work in a maintenance manufacturing environment required.
