About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team at GS Wood Design Ltd. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for restoring and creating new furniture pieces using high-quality materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restore and repair existing furniture pieces using traditional and modern techniques
  • Design and create new furniture pieces using a variety of materials, including wood, fabric, and leather
  • Work with clients to understand their design preferences and create custom pieces that meet their needs
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure high-quality finishes and timely completion of projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in upholstery and furniture restoration
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in upholstery and furniture restoration
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and modern upholstery techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces
